Sudoku started as a stopwatch
I built this because my solving times were stuck. Newspaper puzzles, LinkedIn minis, whatever was in front of me — I had no idea if I was actually getting faster.
So this one keeps score. Every completed game is timed. Each difficulty shows your best and your average, so you can see the curve instead of guessing.
Classic is a standard 9×9. Mini is a 6×6 with 2×3 boxes, like LinkedIn. Both have four difficulties: Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert.
Photograph a newspaper grid, or grab one from your gallery, and play it on the phone. When you finish, share the puzzle with a friend so they can try the same starting board.
The board stays readable. The timer runs quietly unless you put a limit on it. Leave the app and it pauses. Come back and continue. No account, no ads, nothing stored off the phone.
